Attercop is a couple days in the life of a giant spider living in an abandoned house in the woods who loves flowers. This was a tough project for me. It was my first year final project at CCS. I had decided to draw and paint this in gouache on 18"x24" paper with a month to complete it. By the end, every waking moment I had was dedicated to working on it, it was exhausting. I think that, and the fact that this was my first project with gouache, soured my feelings toward this comic, but time and kind words from friends have brought me closer to a peace with it.
